Wan Hai Lines has unveiled an exciting addition to its offerings: the PS6 service, a new Transpacific route that will provide direct connections from Asia to the U.S. West Coast. This innovative service is the result of a strategic Slot Exchange Cooperation with Ocean Network Express (ONE) and is set to commence in February 2025.
The PS6 service will connect key ports, including Shanghai, Ningbo, Long Beach, and Oakland, creating a streamlined transit route for customers. This addition is part of Wan Hai Lines’ comprehensive 2025 Transpacific service strategy, which also includes adjustments to its existing AP1 service. These changes aim to enhance transit times for customers in Vietnam, South China, and Taiwan.
The updated AP1 service schedule, effective February 2025, will include the following ports: Haiphong, Cai Mep, Shekou, Xiamen, Taipei, Los Angeles, Oakland, and returning to Shekou and Haiphong.
Wan Hai Lines is optimistic that the introduction of the PS6 service, alongside the improvements to the AP1 service, will significantly enhance service quality for customers shipping to the U.S. West Coast.
