NX Taiwan GMP Certification

Nippon Express (Taiwan) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS INC., has achieved Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification for quality and safety of cosmetics manufacturing from the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA). The certification has been granted to the company’s NEXT3 warehouse situated in Taoyuan, northern Taiwan. The certification will become effective from February 15, 2024.

According to the new regulations, acquiring cosmetics GMP certification for packaging cosmetics imported into Taiwan and attaching Chinese-language labels will become mandatory from July 2024. Hence, it is essential for companies dealing with cosmetics to enhance their quality control measures.

The NEXT3 warehouse is situated just 15 km away from Taoyuan International Airport and 32 km from Taipei Port. It is located near the Nankan Interchange on Highway 1, which is the major road running north-south the length of Taiwan. Therefore, the warehouse’s location makes it an ideal spot for both domestic and international logistics. The warehouse has high-standard air-conditioned storage and processing areas.

In April 2022, the warehouse was granted GDP and GMP certification for pharmaceuticals. Now that the warehouse has received GMP certification for cosmetics, it can provide even better quality services, in addition to expanding the range of products it can manage.

The NX Group is committed to building top-quality logistics platforms worldwide and providing logistics support to its clients’ businesses.
