On August 30th, Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) welcomed the arrival of MUNKEBO MAERSK, calling for the first time at Terminal D, Laem Chabang Port, as part of the 2M alliance with the Mediterranean Shipping Company.

The LION Service offers a direct connection between Asia and Europe, with a port rotation of:

Lehavre – Sines – Zeebrugge – Antwerp – Algeciras – Suez – Singapore – Laem Chabang – Yantian – Ningbo

By selecting Laem Chabang Port as one of the ports of call for the 2M alliance with the Mediterranean Shipping Company, it shows the liner’s trust in HTP’s infrastructure and its ability to support a wide range of vessels, in addition to the highly efficient cargo lifting operations, and an internationally recognized terminal management team.

MUNKEBO MAERSK is an 18,270-TEU container vessel, measuring 399.2 meters in length and 60 meters in width.
