ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. (ZIM) has introduced an innovative premium service called ZIM Central China Xpress (ZX2), designed to link Central China with the US West Coast.

Scheduled to kick off operations on July 3, 2024, ZX2 boasts the industry’s quickest transit time of just 13 days from Ningbo to Los Angeles. This top-tier service offers customers a host of benefits, including dedicated berths at origin and destination ports to ensure smooth arrival and departure, expedited import containers discharged to ZIM-dedicated chassis for swift delivery, efficient rail connections for rapid inland distribution within the US, a streamlined import process requiring no appointment for expedited cargo pickup, and a dedicated import pickup lane to eliminate queues.

Moreover, ZIM’s established ZEX premium service will now have a stop in Cai Mep, Vietnam, beginning with ZIM FALCON, ETA Cai Mep, July 16, 2024. The updated ZEX rotation will include stops in Cai Mep, Yantian, Los Angeles, and back to Cai Mep.
