On July 11, 2019, Zebra Technologies Corporation held a presentation in Bangkok, Thailand showcasing the results of their latest Asia-Pacific vision study on the Future of Field Operations.
During the presentation, Mr. Tan Aik Jin, APAC Vertical Solutions Lead, Manufacturing and Transportation & Logistics of Zebra Technologies revealed that mobile technology investments are a growing priority for up to 60 percent of Asia-Pacific organizations. The findings indicate that more investments will be made into disruptive technologies and enterprise mobile devices to enhance front-line worker productivity and customer satisfaction in field operations; including fleet management, field services, proof of delivery and direct store delivery workflows.
Furthermore, Mr. Siwaj Rojanatemsak, Country Manager Thailand of Zebra Technologies also introduced the company’s latest advanced mobile devices which look to benefit the users with longer battery life and durability; such as the company’s convenient Vehicle-Mounted Computer VC80X with the ability to function in extreme temperatures which makes it ideal for any field operation. Also on display was the Zebra L10’s rugged platform which offers a variety of tablet configurations and a shared accessory ecosystem for field operations and cargo trucks and ZQ220 Mobile Printer with the ability to print multiple types of media from receipts to labels.
