Yusen Logistics Thailand recently announced the opening of their new warehouses at Yusen Logistics Bang Bo branch with the company’s president, Mr. Kenji Mizushima giving opening speech at the ceremony.
Mr. Mizushima’s opening speech was followed by Mr. Susumu Tanaka, President and Executive Officer Yusen Logistics who said, “The company was originally established in Thailand in 1989 at Bangna-Trad Road. The location enabled the company to connect to Thailand’s major logistics networks and industrial estates, including Suvarnabhumi Airport and Bangkok/Laem Chabang Port. Therefore, allowing the company to readily embrace the expansion of present and future business.”
At the ceremony, Mr. Piman Nuanhong, Executive Director of Warehouse Management Department also provided further details of their newly opened warehouses. “Both of our new warehouses are set up across 28 acres with the first warehouse having 14,000 meters of space and second warehouse having 9,700 meters of space. The first warehouse opened for service on July 2018 and the second warehouse was opened in April 2019.”
He continued, “Both warehouses have 12 meters high ceilings and are capable of supporting weight of up to 5 tons per square meter. The warehouses utilize Very Narrow Aisle Racking (VNA) and Mezzanine Racking with advanced forklifts. In addition, we also manage goods in a large controlled temperature storage area, which is one of our latest services.”
พร้อมกันนี้ คุณพิมาน นวลหงษ์ กรรมการบริหาร หน่วยงานการจัดการคลังสินค้า ได้ให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมว่า “คลังสินค้าแห่งใหม่ทั้งสองหลัง ตั้งอยู่บนพื้นที่ความกว้าง 28 ไร่ โดยคลังสินค้าหลังแรกมีพื้นที่ถึง 14,000 ตารางเมตร ซึ่งเปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่เดือนกรกฎาคมในปีที่ผ่านมา และคลังสินค้าหลังที่สอง มาพร้อมกับพื้นที่ดำเนินงาน 9,700 ตารางเมตร ได้เปิด ให้บริการเมื่อเดือนเมษายนที่ผ่านมา โดยมีเพดานความสูง 12 เมตร และปูพื้นชนิดเรียบพิเศษซึ่งรองรับน้ำหนักได้กว่า 5 ตันต่อตารางเมตร พร้อมระบบจัดเก็บสินค้าแบบ Very Narrow Aisle Racking (VNA) และแบบชั้นลอย (Mezzanine Racking) โดยเคลื่อนย้ายสินค้าด้วยรถฟอร์คลิฟท์ที่ทันสมัย คลังสินค้าแห่งใหม่นี้ ยังมีบริการจัดเก็บสินค้าในห้องควบคุมอุณหภูมิขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งถือเป็นบริการใหม่ของบริษัทอีกด้วย”
