YJC Depot Services, a container depot services provider and a subsidiary of LEO Global Logistics, launched its second container depot on Bangna-Trad KM. 21 Road. Capacities and Capabilities

By opening this new container depot, YJC Depot Services set a goal to enhance the company’s container capacity efficiency and expand the area of the existing container depot located near Bangna-Trad KM. 13. Mr. Kamphaengkeo said, “Our new container depot has a total area of 48,000 sq.m. and has a container capacity of 6,000-7,000 TEUs, which responds to increasing customer demand greatly.”

Mr. Kamphaengkeo continued, “Increasing container capacity comes with more challenges in container depot operation. Thus, YJC Depot Services has deployed cutting-edge container-handling equipment for more efficiency and swifter container depot operation, such as Kalmar empty container handlers that are capable of stacking more than 7 containers, forklifts that can handle a container for more than 10 tons, and Kalmar container handlers that are standout with a capability in swift container handling. This container handle equipment helps support container depot operation to be faster and more flexible compared to typical moving cranes. Additionally, we also installed more than 36 reefer plugs, which is an important part that helps our container depot have a capability in Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) and pre-cooling for more than 108 reefer containers per day. Moreover, we also installed an automatic generator system that can produce backup power in case the container depot has a power blackout impromptu, ensuring that every customer’s reefer container will always be contained safely under the proper temperature.”

Our new container depot is designed with world-class standards by arranging the container depot area to be capable of accommodating the entered trucks properly, helping container depot traffic to be more swiftly, decreasing truck turnaround time efficiently, and decreasing effects that occur outside road traffic. Beyond that, our container depot’s in-out gate also installed a QR code system for banking, which helps lower complexity for truck drivers and helps trucks to be capable of going in and out the gate more swiftly.

Furthermore, the new YJC depot services container depot also installed 64 security cameras around the area, along with deployed security guards to secure the container depot 24 hours to enhance safety security comprehensively.
