On December 6, 2022, TIPS Co., Ltd., Terminal B4 Operator, Laem Chabang Port, bought its first electric truck from Asia Plus EV Co., LTD.
The electric truck can operate in the port for up to 16 hours on a single charge. Moreover, it can charge from 25 percent to 100 percent within 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Mr. Teerapol Shinno, Vice President-Terminal of TIPS, said, “This new electric truck reflects our intention to reduce pollution and create sustainable development within the terminal using clean energy, making TIPS one of Thailand’s Green Ports.”
