TIPS Makes Strides in Enhancing Container Transport Efficiency

TIPS Co., Ltd, the operator of container terminal B.4 at Laem Chabang Port, Thailand, has set a new record for vessel productivity. The company recently achieved an impressive high of 121.07 containers per hour while working on the Panamax container vessel, M.V.OOCL BRISBANE V.226N.

In a single call, the terminal’s four to five quay cranes managed to unload 2,034 units (3,206 TEUs) from the vessel, cementing their position as one of the most efficient container terminals in the region.

The remarkable achievement was made possible by the company’s state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained staff, who worked tirelessly to ensure the operation was completed smoothly and efficiently.
