SITC Launches Direct Service to Hitachinaka with SKT6

SITC Direct Call Service Hitachinaka SKT6

At 11 a.m. on February 1st,2024, a celebration for “SITC Direct Call Service” was held by the Hitachinaka Port Promotion Association at the port. Mr. Otani, the President of the Hitachinaka Port Promotion Association and concurrently the Mayor of Hitachinaka City, attended the event with port-related personnel from Civil Engineering of Ibaraki and customers’ representatives.

Hitachinaka Port is located in Ibaraki, in the Kanto Region of Japan, and is the 15th port of direct call in SITC Japan routes.

The new route SKT6 connects Shanghai, Taicang, and Hitchinaka to provide quick service to local customers and provides import and export services by using Shanghai parts to transit shipments to Thailand, Vietnam, India, and other parts of Asia. 2024 Logistic Issues and reducing Co2 emissions are common concerns between SITC and customers. SITC has always adhered to sustainable development and is committed to promoting environmental protection and providing customers with low-carbon and comprehensive logistics cost advantages.
