CMA CGM staff members in Thailand launched their first 100% CMA CGM Block Train. Fully loaded with CMA CGM containers and directly connecting the port of Laem Chabang with Lat Krabang, this block train is a major first in Asia, helping to keep a tight grip on operating costs, shorten transit times and curb the environmental impact of transport solutions.
The milestone demonstrates a very good collaboration between the CMA CGM logistics teams in Thailand, the Asia RO and all included partners, SRT rail and the TIFFA container depot in Bangkok.
