On August 26, 2024, a significant partnership was forged as SITC, SIPG, and Hisense signed a tripartite strategic cooperation memorandum in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The signing ceremony was attended by esteemed leaders, including Mr. Gu Jinshan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIPG, Mr. Wang Haijian, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SIPG, Mr. Liu Changman, General Manager of Production and Business Department of SIPG, Mr. Yang Xianxiang, Chairman of SITC, Mr. Xue Mingyuan, CEO of SITC, Mr. Lai Zhiyong, President of SITC Logistics, Mr. Jia Shaoqian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hisense, and Mr. Liu Bin, Vice President of Hisense International Co., Ltd, LTD.
During the ceremony, the leaders of the three parties delivered speeches outlining the business cooperation and prospects of the trilateral partnership. The memorandum of strategic cooperation solidifies the commitment to jointly build an efficient, convenient, and economical global supply chain channel. This endeavour will be supported by the integrated port logistics services of SIPG, the import and export source products of Hisense, and the international shipping and supply chain services of SITC. The collaboration aims to make a significant contribution to the country’s foreign economic and trade development and enhance the independent control ability of the supply chain.
