SITC Line 10000 TEU Containers

SITC Line has announced the gradual launch of its newly ordered 10,000 TEU dry containers. These newly manufactured containers prioritize green and environmental protection by utilizing more environmentally friendly materials such as bamboo flooring, waterborne paint, and MS sealant compared to traditional materials. The use of waterborne paint has resulted in an 85% reduction in VOC emissions compared to traditional oil-based paint. Additionally, the incorporation of bamboo flooring, with its shorter growth cycle, reduces the use of wood while offering higher strength and greater compressive capacity compared to traditional wood flooring.

The production process also includes an undercoating pollution prevention device to effectively avoid undercoating pollution and reduce environmental impact. This container manufacturing plan is scheduled to be completed and delivered by early April 2024.

Through this initiative, SITC Line aims to improve the overall container condition, better meet customer needs, and enhance its competitiveness. The introduction of these environmentally friendly containers demonstrates SITC Line’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.”
