With the mutual promotion of RCEP and the “One Belt One Road” initiative, international trade has shown a sustained growth trend. Thus, SITC will launch two new container liner routes in the Asian region in early November to meet the increasing demand for cargo transportation.

FEM2 West Malaysia route: As SITC’s fourth West Malaysia route, the launch of this route increases the density of services between Shanghai, Klang and Pasir Gudang; and new direct service between Xiamen to Klang and Pasir Gudang And express service from Shekou to Busan has been added.

MMS Myanmar route: The opening of this route is SITC’s first entry into the Myanmar market and also marks the further expansion of SITC’s service network in the Asian region. Combined with the frequent service routes of the China-Klang route, it will effectively guarantee the transportation of import and export goods between China and Myanmar.

In the current predicament that container liner operating costs have risen sharply, container shipping capacity in the Asian region has been shrinking. However, SITC Container Lines is bucking the trend, giving back to customers, actively helping the construction of the new pattern of “One Belt and One Road”, and providing customers with quality and efficient service as always.
