SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd. (SITC) and HUANGHAI Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HUANGHAI) recently celebrated the naming and delivery ceremony of M/V “SITC XIN” on July 29, 2024. The event was attended by prominent leaders and guests from various organizations, including Mr Yang Xianxiang, Chairman of the Board of SITC, Mr Zhao Jianping, Chairman of HUANGHAI, and Mr Chu Beiping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal of Shanghai Maritime University.
During the ceremony, Mr Yang Xianxiang delivered a speech on behalf of the shipowner, expressing his excitement for the new vessel. Mr Chu Beiping christened the new ship, and Ms Sha Mei, President of the College of Transport and Communications of Shanghai Maritime University, acted as the godmother of the vessel, breaking the champagne and offering blessings for safe sailing and success.
Following the ceremony, M/V “SITC XIN” is set to join the SITC fleet, with a promise to deliver improved and more efficient services to customers.
