In an exciting development, the Pacific International Lines (PIL) “Durian Express” service marked a milestone on 8 May with the successful delivery of the first shipment of Thai durians to Nansha, China.

To ensure the durians arrived in pristine condition, they were transported in PIL’s reefer containers equipped with state-of-the-art technology, maintaining ideal conditions for the fruit throughout the journey. Notably, PIL possesses one of the youngest fleets of reefer containers in the industry.

In line with PIL’s “People-Centric” commitment, the teams went above and beyond to provide a seamless solution for customers. From meticulous loading and unloading to efficient coordination with ports and customs authorities, the entire delivery process was streamlined for maximum customer satisfaction.

This successful delivery underscores PIL’s dedication to prioritizing customer needs by leveraging shipping expertise and cutting-edge technology to offer efficient solutions. As the durian season continues, PIL remains committed to “Driving Connectivity” between Thailand and China, ensuring more people can savour Thailand’s renowned “King of the Fruits.”
