Pacific International Lines (PIL) has recently demonstrated its ability to transport unconventional cargo such as breakbulk and project cargo.

On board its vessel Kota Cahaya, PIL transported giant curved structures called dish heads, each measuring 7.6 metres in diameter and weighing about 35 tonnes. These dish heads are important components used to make pressure vessels, storage tanks, and boilers.

During their journey from the UAE to Saudi Arabia, the dish heads were securely lashed to ensure their safe transportation. This successful delivery showcases PIL’s “People-Centric” approach to going the extra mile to provide solutions for its customers.

PIL’s operational capabilities to transport beyond just containers reaffirms its commitment to “Driving Connectivity” and meeting the various needs of its customers. This achievement further cements PIL’s position as a reliable and trustworthy shipping company that can handle any kind of cargo.
