On 12 July, PIL Shipping (Thailand) held an opening ceremony for its first office in Thailand at Punn Tower, Bangkok, attended by PIL executives and honoured guests as witnesses.
In the ceremony, Mr Lars Kastrup Christian, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pacific International Lines (PIL), expressed gratitude to the attended customers, employees, and honoured guests, committing that PIL Shipping (Thailand) will operate in Thailand with full capabilities to enhance connectivity and strong global network, aligned with ‘Drive Connectivity’ principle that PIL adheres to. Mr. Christian also mentioned the upcoming vessel orders and presented PIL Values, which consisted of ‘People-Centric’, ‘Pushing Boundaries’, and ‘Future Focused’. After that, PIL executives, led by Mr Lars Kastrup Christian, Mrs Yvonne Koo Siew Fong, General Manager of Group Commercial & Agency Management of PIL, and Mr Pornchai Daungkeowuttikri, Owner’s Representative of PIL Thailand, had cut a ribbon to officially open the new office.
PIL Shipping (Thailand) also held a Thai traditional show, Hanuman catches Suvannamaccha, which was not only auspicious for the new office but also reflected PIL Shipping (Thailand)’s commitment to advancing to delivering efficient maritime transportation services to the customers.
