MSC Thailand Organizes Port Tour and Thanks Eastern Region Customers with Dinner Party

On December 13th, 2023, Mediterranean Shipping Company Thailand (MSC Thailand), a leading global shipping line, organized a port tour at Kerry Siam Seaport and hosted a dinner to express its gratitude toward its customers in the eastern region for the year 2023.

During the port visit activities at Kerry Siam Seaport, MSC Thailand showcased its capabilities and service facilities, offering participants opportunities to inquire about and discuss the services provided. Following the port visit, MSC extended customer invitations for a dinner party at the Holiday Inn & Suites Laem Chabang, Chonburi. The event was organized to express gratitude to customers and partners in the eastern region who consistently support the shipping line’s services. The dinner featured live music performances and lucky draw activities, with special prizes awarded to all participants.

MSC opened its first branch in Bangkok, Thailand, in February 2001 after doing business in the country for several years through a third-party agent. In strengthening its commitment to the Thai market, MSC subsequently set up offices in Songkhla (Southern Thailand) and a vessel operations office in Laem Chabang Port (Eastern Thailand).To provide a broader range of commercial services and to better serve its customers, MSC Thailand, in November 2019, upgraded the Laem Chabang branch to an even bigger office.

Today, MSC Thailand offers multiple direct services linked to Southeast Asia and North Asia (China, Korea, Japan), as well as Direct long-haul services connecting Thailand and the USA, Australia, and New Zealand. Providing a comprehensive one-stop service, the office also offers first-mile and last-mile services within Thailand’s territory.

During the celebration event, Mr. Gaspard Vandamme, Managing Director of MSC Thailand, delivered a thank-you speech expressing gratitude to the honoured guests for their unwavering support of the company. He mentioned the hope of receiving opportunities from customers and partners to expand their business further in the future.

In addition, Ms. Rungruedee Kurutuch, Deputy Managing Director, and Mr. Sanchai Korsa-ngar-luk, Import Commercial Manager and Laem Chabang Branch Head at MSC Thailand, presented the company’s services to underscore its commitment to providing efficient and consistent service to meet the needs of customers.
