On April 28th, MSC Thailand, part of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), held a ‘Reefer Solutions’ seminar at their Bangkok office. The seminar aimed to provide valuable information to customers in the perishable cargo segment, covering chilled and frozen cargo such as meat, seafood, fruits, and vegetables. The company also showcased its maritime transportation network, which covers major global markets and offers customers significant advantages.
During the event, Mr. Gaspard Vandamme, Managing Director of MSC Thailand, gave a welcoming speech, followed by a lecture on the history and vision of MSC Thailand by Ms. Rungruedee Kurutuch, Deputy Managing Director of MSC Thailand.
MSC Thailand offers standardized reefer containers that can maintain perishable cargo quality comprehensively and ensure that the cargo reaches its final destination in perfect condition. They offer four export routes to ports in Asia, including the Seagull, Pertiwi, Seahorse, and Kaguya services. Additionally, they provide an export route to Europe via their Griffin service and two export routes to the USA, including the Elephant and Sentosa services.
For import services, MSC Thailand offers five import routes from the main port in Asia to Thailand, including the Seagull, Pertiwi, Seahorse, Kaguya, and Dolphin services. They also have an import route from Oceania, the Kiwi service, and from the USA, the Elephant service. The import route from India is the Sentosa service, and the import route from Europe is the Lion service.
Mr. Tridej Guptabha, CEO of the Thai Reefer Group, was also present at the event to share his expertise on reefer specialists and enhance reefer cargo knowledge. The event concluded with a Q&A and a quiz session, followed by a lunch party.
