MSC has exciting news for businesses involved in international trade. The company has announced the expansion of its Chinook service, which includes a new call to Haiphong in Vietnam, starting in late October. This development aims to provide an additional trade service to MSC’s Transpacific network, establishing a direct connection between Vietnam and the USA and Canada. By adding a Haiphong call to the Chinook service, MSC seeks to enhance support for North Vietnam exporters and importers.

The change promises to deliver direct and competitive transit times to ports in the Pacific Northwest US and Canada, as well as improved transit times into the Pacific Southwest. The revised rotation for the service, commencing with MSC DAMLA voyage 443A from Haiphong on 23 October, will include stops at Haiphong, Yantian, Shanghai, Qingdao, Busan, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, and then back to Haiphong. This expansion is expected to facilitate smoother and more efficient trade operations between Vietnam and North America.
