Interasia Lines is pleased to introduce a new independent Vietnam – Malaysia Express Service code-named “VMX” with commencement around early September 2021.

Interasia Lines shall deploy two vessels providing a full VMX service rotation on 14 days’ round-trip schedule as follows:

Ho Chi Minh – Port Klang – Penang – Port Klang – Ho Chi Minh

With VMX service deployment, Interasia Lines will provide a dedicated service with a competitive schedule connecting Vietnam and Malaysia Peninsula main ports at Port Klang and Penang. This will further expand its Southeast Asia coverage while complementing its intensive service networks in Vietnam within North Asia corridors. Significantly, this shall provide a direct linkage between Malaysia and Vietnam within Interasia service networks.

VMX is a further testament to Interasia Lines’ commitment to providing more reliable services with additional scheduling options and better serving shippers’ and consignees’ diverse needs for Southeast Asia markets. Above all, Interasia Lines will remain focused on its long term pursuit for Intra Asia service-related developments.
