Interasia Lines has announced a new direct service from China to East Africa named IEA (Interasia-East-Africa). Interasia Lines will introduce the IEA service in early November, providing a stable schedule for North and Central China to East Africa’s main ports in Kenya and Tanzania.

Port Klang is a transhipment hub that connects Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, to East Africa. This marks a significant milestone for Interasia Lines as it expands its service offerings beyond its current core Intra-Asia and India sub-continent services, strengthening its presence in the market.

IEA showcases Interasia Lines’ commitment to reliable services and diverse scheduling options for shippers and consignees in international markets, and the company remains focused on pursuing global service development.

The IEA port rotation is as follows:

Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Nansha – Port Klang – Mombasa – Dar Es Salaam – Port Klang – Qingdao
