Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT), the leading port and terminal operator at Laem Chabang Port, has announced that it has successfully processed 35 million TEUs of containers since it began operations. Mr Stephen Ashworth, Managing Director of Thailand and Southeast Asia, Hutchison Ports, celebrated the occasion with executives and employees of HPT.
The accomplishment was made possible by the hard work of all employees. HPT has developed new operating capabilities at Terminal D at Laem Chabang Port in Chonburi by implementing cutting-edge technology as well as the development of trained and skilled personnel to implement the smart port prototype, which will benefit the Hutchison Group worldwide and Thailand in the future.
