HMM Company Limited (HMM), Ocean Network Express (ONE), and Yang Ming Marine Transportation (Yang Ming) have formally announced the extension of their collaboration under the new alliance name Premier Alliance. This partnership, set to last for five years from February 2025, aims to reinforce reliable and adaptable services with expanded global reach, ultimately delivering enhanced value and seamless operations for their customers.
The scope of this strategic partnership encompasses mainline services across the major East-West Tradelines, including Asia – North America West Coast, Asia – North America East Coast, Asia – Mediterranean, Asia – North Europe, and Asia / Middle East.
Mr. Kyung Bae Kim, CEO of HMM, expressed his satisfaction, stating, “It is very pleased to continue alliance cooperation with Ocean Network Express and Yang Ming Marine Transportation, which is a proven longstanding partnership among three lines until now as well as in the future. We believe close cooperation under Premier Alliance would provide a stable and competitive service network to our customers in East-West Trade.”
HMM has committed to providing separate comprehensive updates for all services on major trade lanes, including service package details under the new alliance. By solidifying the Premier Alliance, HMM aims to uphold an extensive service network for its valued customers, encompassing HMM’s independent services.
