Expanding its operations in Thailand, Hede Shipping has appointed D Power Three Transport as its sole agent and launched a direct Thailand-China service connecting Laem Chabang to Nansha. With a four-day transit time, this service is tailored to support various types of cargo, especially sensitive commodities, in preparation for the peak durian season.
In this issue of LM Magazine, we had the opportunity to speak with Ms. Waraporn Jungcharoen, Managing Director, and Mr. Terachart Bunphungbarame, Operation Manager of D Power Three Transport and Hede Shipping Thailand.
A Solid Foundation
As a key partner of Hede Shipping, D Power Three Transport (DP3), a leading freight forwarder and customer service provider in Thailand, has been appointed as the sole service agent in the country. To ensure efficient and seamless operations, DP3 offers a range of services, including cargo coordination, document management, customs clearance, transportation, and customer assistance. Additionally, DP3 provides logistics and business consulting services to both Thai and international customers.

Hede Shipping, a subsidiary of Hebei Port Group, has established its headquarters at Jingtang Port in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Specializing in containerized ocean freight, river transit, and barge services, Hede operates across domestic river and coastal routes in China. The company also offers rail transit and multimodal transportation, delivering integrated logistics solutions for its customers.
“With a broad vision, Hede Shipping has expanded its network across China, offering three key ports that connect destinations throughout China and Asia. These include Nansha Port in Guangzhou, which provides strategic access to cities in China and opportunities to connect with key ports in Vietnam and Thailand,” Ms. Waraporn said. “Additionally, Tangshan Port and Huanghua Port also offer weekly direct services to major ports in Korea and Japan, ensuring comprehensive, safe, and swift services. This aligns with our core values, which focus on delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions.”
Initial focus
Hede Shipping is managed by a team of experienced logistics professionals operating 50 self-owned container ships with a total capacity of over 75,000 TEU. More than 50 domestic and international containerized ocean freight routes are in operation, complemented by inland transportation services across China, leveraging the advantages of barge service and rail transit to connect northern, central, and southern destinations.
Expansion and Global Reach

Mr. Terachart said, “After years of expanding its business and services in China, Hede is now extending its global reach. The company has initially established local offices in Vietnam and Thailand and is committed to expanding its ocean freight network to the USA. As Hede’s Thailand agent, DP3 leverages its expertise to provide customers with end-to-end services, combining Hede’s comprehensive network and containerized ocean freight solutions with DP3’s specialized support in the Thai market.”
Recently, Hede has been handling a range of product logistics services from China to Thailand, including high-demand pet toys, appliances such as cat litter, furniture, air conditioners, machinery, and project cargo. The company also provides services from Thailand to China, especially for Thai vegetables and fruits, which are in high demand.
“By appointing DP3 as its first official agent in Thailand, Hede is ensuring professional support for the Thai market. The DP3 team includes experienced experts specializing in both Thai and Chinese markets, offering transportation support through Bangkok Port and Laem Chabang Port. This ensures seamless exports and imports between Thailand and China,” said Ms. Waraporn.
Seamless and Efficient Cold Chain Solutions

This appointment highlights the potential of the Thai market, especially for Thai fruits such as durian, coconut, and longan, which are popular in China and globally. As a result, Hede is focused on developing advanced logistics solutions and launching the fastest direct service to China, with a transit time of only four days from Laem Chabang Port to Nansha Port, to accommodate an upcoming peak durian season.
“To prepare for this peak season, we have equipped advanced reefers that maintain a stable temperature throughout the journey to China. We provide 100-150 reefer plugs, capable of supporting 3,000-4,000 tons of durian, with experts overseeing and tracking the cargo on the ships to ensure optimal conditions,” added Mr. Terachart. “This ensures readiness for distribution while maintaining freshness.”
Hede Shipping believes that this logistics solution for sensitive cargo can meet market needs by delivering sensitive commodities like durian to China in a timely manner while preserving their optimal freshness and taste. This solution not only supports Thai agriculture but also promotes the export of vegetables and fruits. Additionally, it helps extend product shelf life through fast transit time, increasing profits for entrepreneurs and those involved.
Hede’s direct service rotation between Nansha Port and Laem Chabang Port provides a fast, seamless, and direct route.
Expand Further, Grow Stronger
With an extensive vision and commitment to enhancing global logistics, Hede is now expanding its business and logistics network in Asia, including Vietnam, Japan, and South Korea, to support growing import and export needs with China.
Ms. Waraporn added, “Recently, Hede has been extending its reach to the USA, developing direct services to enhance network coverage and competitive opportunities. We ensure timely and efficient delivery of customers’ cargo, and plan to offer services from Thailand to the USA through transshipment at Nansha Port for fast and seamless transit.”

Following DP3’s appointment as Hede’s sole service agent in Thailand, the focus will be on strengthening existing partnerships while building new ones. DP3 aims to grow and excel in logistics by delivering seamless, fast, and competitive end-to-end services with both road and rail transportation to meet the evolving demands of the Thai market.
