Global Critical Logistics (GCL) has acquired two New Zealand forwarders, Auckland-based Time Frame Logistics and Wellington-based Xtreme Forwarding, as part of ongoing expansion plans in Asia Pacific.

Time Frame, which specializes in live event logistics, will have its assets and business fully integrated into GCL’s Rock-it Global and will be newly branded as Rock-it Global New Zealand. Film and television transportation specialists Xtreme Forwarding will continue operating under its current brand alongside Dynamic International, another GCL company serving film and TV customers.

“Acquiring these two New Zealand companies with capabilities across our core end markets strengthens our geographic footprint in a key cornerstone of the Asia-Pacific region while also giving us direct access to local customers seeking to grow beyond their home markets,” said Daniel Rosenthal, President and Chief Executive Officer, GCL. “We are constantly evaluating strategic opportunities to grow the business, enhance our value proposition to customers, and expand our service offerings worldwide.”

Founded in 2001, Time Frame includes an experienced team of freight forwarding experts specializing in music touring production gear, camera kits, live broadcasting equipment, theatre shows, stadium events, and special projects with complex needs.

“We have worked closely with Rock-it Global as a partner and supplier for decades, and joining the family to support Rock-it Global’s efforts in New Zealand is an exciting step for our team,” said Founder and General Manager Mark Selwood, who will continue to lead Rock-it Global New Zealand. “This partnership will further allow us to leverage a global network and shared resources for our existing customers while continuing to deliver critical solutions in New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.”

Xtreme Forwarding has over 42 years of specialized knowledge and experience in the film and entertainment industry and offers integrated freight services to a global clientele of premier and independent productions.

“We are pleased to be joining the GCL family and look forward to working more closely together with the team in the coming years,” said Steve Rowland, Founder and Managing Director of Xtreme Forwarding. “Importantly, this move will allow our teams to leverage a global network of specialists to serve our clients more efficiently and on a broader geographical scale.”

Rock-it Global provides high-touch, mission-critical air, ocean, and surface freight forwarding and logistics services for live entertainment, music touring, sports, motorsports, broadcasting, corporate events, and tradeshow end markets. GCL’s Dynamic International, established in 1988, is a time-critical freight forwarding and logistics company primarily serving the film, television, and broadcasting industries.
