Global logistics experts at DB Schenker are currently overseeing a significant logistics operation to aid India in establishing a reliable and sustainable power supply. The project involves the transportation of 240 wind turbine blades from a production facility in Shenyang, China, to Kandla Port in India on behalf of Envision Energy, a prominent global provider of green technology and renewable energy solutions and India’s leading wind turbine supplier.

Thorsten Meincke, Member of the Management Board for Air and Ocean Freight at DB Schenker, expressed pride in supporting India’s transition from traditional energy sources to eco-friendly alternatives. He emphasized the importance of a stable and sustainable power supply as India experiences rapid economic growth.

Daniel Wieland, Senior Vice President Global Projects & Industry Solutions at DB Schenker, highlighted the company’s role as a premier logistics partner for renewable energy initiatives. He underscored DB Schenker’s expertise in safely transporting wind turbine blades and the seamless collaboration between their teams in China and India to ensure the project’s success.
