
CULines hosted its Global Agency Seminar 2025 in Dubai on February 25, 2025, bringing together company leadership, headquarters representatives, agency partners, shipowners, and collaborators from various regions across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The event focused on strengthening partnerships and promoting collaboration in global markets.
Chairman Raymond Chen opened the seminar with a keynote speech, reviewing CULines’ achievements in 2024 and outlining the company’s strategic vision for 2025, emphasizing stronger global partnerships. He highlighted CULines’ success in the Middle East, Red Sea, and Eastern Mediterranean markets, attributed to agile decision-making, efficient resource allocation, and precise operational strategies, leading to market-leading services and flexible adjustments.
For 2025, CULines will prioritize strategic expansion in India and West Asia, combining Eastern wisdom and Western innovation. The company aims to establish a comprehensive liner service network, optimize operational efficiency, and deepen partner collaboration, shifting from “market breakthrough” to “market strengthening.”
Teo Yew Ping, Vice President and Chief Trade Officer, and the Network Planning Department presented the detailed route deployment plan for 2025, covering service network optimization, capacity allocation, and performance targets. This presentation aimed to define the direction and operational goals for the global agency network.
The seminar included in-depth discussions among business representatives from 25 regions and ports, covering market trends, regional outlooks, operational optimization, marketing enhancement, service upgrades, cross-regional collaboration, and emerging market development. These discussions aimed to provide clarity on regional market potential and develop actionable plans for market expansion and service innovation.
Senior Advisor Lars Solbø Christiansen provided feedback and commended CULines’ professionalization and internationalization, as well as its agile response to market volatility. He emphasized the importance of achieving full-load operations to effectively implement the company’s strategic initiatives.
The seminar concluded with the 2024 Outstanding Agency Awards Ceremony, recognizing 19 agency companies across 15 categories for their contributions to CULines’ success.
In his closing remarks, President Kevin Ding acknowledged the performance of global agencies and business units and urged agency partners to align with the four principles: Same Picture, Same Target, Same Page, and Same Speed. He called for collaborative efforts to achieve win-win outcomes and execute strategic initiatives effectively.
