CULines New Container Vessel CUL KLANG was Successfully Delivered

On the morning of March 8, 2024, the 24,00 TEU new container ship “CUL KLANG”, under a partnership between China United Lines (CULines) and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, was successfully named and delivered at the new Yangzi Shipyard.

Guests from SPDB Financial Leasing, SDARI, Lloyd’s Register, SINOCREW, BSM, SITC Brokerage, Jiangsu Shipping College, CULines’ global agencies’ partners, representatives of CULines and partners, as well as employee representatives and friends from all circles attended the ceremony.

CULines and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding together invited the representative of newbuild designers and builders, Ms. Lin Jie, a master of container ship design from tSDARI, as the sponsor to officiate the naming of “CUL Klang”, cutting the ribbons breaking a champagne bottle on the vessel for the ceremony.

Du Chengzhong, deputy general manager of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group and new general manager of Yangzi, and Kevin Ding, president of CULines, delivered their speeches.

Teo Yew Ping, assistant president of CULines, Zhang Yujing, manager of the SPDB Financial Leasing Shipping Business Department, and Du Chengzhong, deputy general manager of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group and general manager of New Yangzi, signed the delivery documents on behalf of the three parties.
