Recently, 169 electric vehicles departed smoothly from the Port of Qingdao on M.V. COSCO SHIPPING PLANET and are expected to arrive at the Port of Jebel Ali in the eastern Persian Gulf in 20 days.

The cars are the first batch of ID4/ID6 electric vehicles shipped by COSCO SHIPPING Lines Qingdao in cooperation with FAW-Volkswagen Qingdao production base.

COSCO SHIPPING Lines Qingdao had actively communicated with the customer, designed the containerization scheme and reinforcement standards, and made well-thought transport arrangements from the factory to the packing site at the terminal, which not only improved packing and transportation safety but also raised transportation efficiency and lowered the cost.

Given the characteristics of the cargo, the loading and unloading operation at the ports of shipment and destination will take significant time. However, with the help and guidance of COSCO SHIPPING Lines headquarters, the Qingdao Company overcame a range of challenges to meet the customer needs for the use of space and containers, winning the trust and recognition of the customer and laying a solid foundation for continuous in-depth cooperation.
