Adding to CNC’s existing 16 Thailand-bound services, the ITS service marks the first direct connection from Bangkok and Laem Chabang in Thailand to Semarang and Surabaya in Indonesia
In addition, this service makes weekly calls at the trans-shipment hubs of Singapore and Port Klang. Shipments onboard ITS also gain access to the extensive intra-regional network of CNC and the global network of the CMA CGM Group.
“With ITS, shippers can look forward to CNC’s first direct service from Bangkok to Port Klang and Singapore, as well as from Thailand to Semarang and Surabaya. Weekend sailing slots at the Thai ports are also available to meet the market’s high demand. Moreover, customers can utilise ITS for delivering long haul cargoes to destinations in Europe, Middle East and the Gulf, United States, and Oceania via the comprehensive world-wide services offered by the CMA CGM Group,” said Mr. Benoit de Quillacq, Managing Director of CMA CGM (Thailand).
ITS has begun its inaugural service from Singapore on 19 May with the following rotation: Singapore – Port Klang – Semarang – Surabaya – Port Klang – Singapore – Laem Chabang – Bangkok – Laem Chabang – Singapore.
