CMA CGM has unveiled a groundbreaking addition to their eCommerce platform with the introduction of the decarbonization gauge. This innovative feature allows users to specify their desired level of carbon emissions reduction, with options for up to 84% reduction through the use of alternative fuels.
To address any remaining emissions, the company offers a CARBON OFFSET solution, starting from a net reduction of 20%. This new digital tool provides customers easy access to ACT+, a comprehensive range of low-carbon solutions introduced in 2020. These solutions are designed to measure, reduce, and offset carbon emissions from maritime transportation, and also issue an official and audited declaration of CO2 reduction.
