CMA CGM Launches Baltic Express Service (BLX) to Enhance Connectivity in the Baltics

CMA CGM has launched a new feeder service, the Baltic Express (BLX), to enhance connectivity between Finland, Latvia, and Poland. This new service offers efficient and reliable shipping solutions, connecting Kotka, Finland, and Riga, Latvia, via Gdansk, Poland.

Key features of the BLX service:

  • Increased Frequency and Reliability: Dedicated weekly shuttle service between Finland, Latvia, and Poland.
  • Efficient Transshipment: Gdansk serves as an efficient transshipment hub, connecting CMA CGM’s global network to the Baltics and Intra-European markets.
  • Competitive Solutions: Offers quick transit times from/to key hubs in Asia, including China, Singapore, Port Klang, and Busan.

The BLX service commenced its first voyage from Gdansk on January 20, 2025, with the vessel JSP MISTRAL.

This new service strengthens CMA CGM’s presence in the Baltic region and provides customers with enhanced connectivity and efficient shipping options.
