CMA CGM has enhanced its service offering from Europe to West Africa in a continued effort to provide reliable and high-quality service. The new features include offering Casablanca exclusively via the WAZZAN service, with a weekly direct link to Dakar. Freetown was shifted to MEDWAX, and Dakar to WAZZAN, benefitting from extensive coverage via the Gibraltar hub. Additionally, a new BIJAGOS service is now dedicated to the Gambia and Guinea-Bissau markets, offering competitive transit times.
The WAZZAN service has an operation time of 28 days with a rotation of Casablanca – Algeciras – Tanger – Nouakchott – Dakar – Nouadhibou – Las Palmas. The first departure was made by the m/v “LION,” which arrived at Casablanca on October 10th, 2024.
The BIJAGOS service has an operation time of 35 days with a rotation of Algeciras – Tanger – Dakar – Banjul – Bissau. The first departure was made by the m/v “EM HYDRA,” which arrived at Algeciras on October 14th, 2024.
The MEDWAX service has an operation time of 28 days with a rotation of Algeciras – Tanger – Freetown – Conakry – Monrovia – San Pedro. The first departure was made by the m/v “CMA CGM GUARANI,” which arrived at Algeciras on October 2nd, 2024.
The EURAF 4 service has an operation time of 42 days with a rotation of Valencia – Algeciras – Tanger – Lome – Bata – Malabo – Kribi – Libreville. The first departure was made by the m/v “LUTETIA,” which arrived at Valencia on October 6th, 2024.
