In a remarkable step toward more sustainable and energy-efficient practices, CEVA Logistics recently completed its LED lighting installation project across all its facilities in Greater China. LED lighting provides better energy efficiency, longer lifespan, better quality, and enhanced safety benefits, as well as secures substantial cost savings and helps CEVA meet its sustainability commitments.
One of the most significant advantages of LED lighting lies in its exceptional energy efficiency. By embracing LEDs, CEVA Greater China anticipates a staggering 66% potential reduction in energy consumption compared to traditional lighting sources (i.e. fluorescent tubes).
LED lighting fixtures also enjoy up to 3.5 years longer life, which reduces the frequency of replacements and, consequently, minimizes solid waste generation. In addition, LED lighting offers superior quality, providing bright, uniform lighting throughout CEVA’s offices and warehouses. With LEDs producing minimal heat and eliminating hazardous substances (like mercury), CEVA has created a safer working environment for its employees and contributed to a greener and more sustainable environment.
“As part of CEVA’s global commitment to sustainability, I’m glad that the CEVA team in Greater China met the global target ahead of schedule. This is just the beginning, and we’re also working on many initiatives across our sites. China’s government target is carbon neutral by 2060, and we expect more local customers to look for sustainable products.
