The CMA CGM Group gave the Bolloré Group a put option on May 8, 2023, to purchase all of Bolloré Logistics for a total enterprise value of 5 billion euros. This occurred after the Bolloré Group and the CMA CGM Group engaged in private talks, as publicly announced on April 18, 2023.

The Bolloré Group has agreed to the put option as an offer. Therefore, they will begin the necessary procedures to inform and consult with the relevant staff representative bodies. After these procedures are completed, the decision to exercise the put option will be made.

The parties involved adjusted the purchase price for the agreement, mainly concerning the valuation of minority interests and IFRS16 debt. As a result, the final amount before accounting for debt and cash on the completion date is 4.650 billion euros.
