The “K” Line Group has successfully exhibited their offshore support vessel operations at the Wind Expo 2024 event held from February 28th to March 1st at Tokyo Big Sight. With years of experience and knowledge in this field from Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. and Kawasaki Kinkai Kisen Kaisha, Ltd., “K” Line Wind Service Ltd. has been actively pursuing the development of the Japanese offshore wind industry with innovative solutions.
In line with their commitment, “K” Line Wind Service established a corporate relationship with a leading company in the Japanese offshore industry and conducted studies through the Green Innovation Fund “Cost Reductions for Floating Offshore Wind Power Generation Projects” adopted by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
As a result of their expertise in safe and high-quality operations in this field over the years, “K” Line Wind Service obtained ISO 9001:2015, an international standard for quality management systems certified by ClassNK at the end of 2023(*). This certification has further strengthened their commitment to contribute to developing Japanese Offshore Wind projects by providing safe and reliable offshore support vessels.
The successful exhibition at Wind Expo 2024 has showcased the “K” Line Group’s dedication to developing the Japanese offshore wind industry and its expertise in offshore support vessel operations. The event was attended by industry experts and stakeholders, who appreciated the “K” Line Group’s efforts to contribute to the industry’s development.
