This year, MSC participated in the Port2Port 2023 event, Israel’s largest event for the logistics industry. The MSC team presented at the Tel Aviv convention centre on 22 June, joining industry peers and customers to discuss current trends, strategies, and innovations in the shipping and logistics industry.

Port2Port connects customers to leading shipping and logistics providers, including shipping lines, ports, depots, forwarders, air cargo lines, and packing solution providers. The event attracts more than 2,500 visitors annually and provides an excellent forum for face-to-face meetings and networking, allowing all attendees to begin new business journeys.

Transportation and Storage Expertise

Thanks to the scale of MSC’s operations and services and its wide-reaching network, the company offers local specialist support and full door-to-door solutions designed to meet customer needs.

Intermodal transportation is a core focus for MSC. Its fast-growing and extensive road, rail, and barge network, along with tailor-made services and storage solutions, offer customers a flexible, efficient and sustainable way of moving cargo inland.

Digital Expertise

MSC believe that digitalisation also has the power to make shipping more efficient, secure, and sustainable. It continuously invests in new digital tools and technologies to provide customers with easy-to-use, flexible, and reliable online shipping management solutions. At the event, MSC’s experts were on hand to showcase how its digital tools make it easier to book, manage, and track supply chain services online.

To save time and reduce costs for its customers, MSC also offers a digital solution for transmitting the Bill of Lading. Its electronic Bill of Lading (eBL) provides a secure and sustainable alternative to traditional paper BLs.
