Danny Gill

The World Cargo Symposium (WCS) is the largest and most prestigious annual event of its kind and the only one to bring together key stakeholders from the entire air cargo supply chain.

IATA’s 11th annual World Cargo Symposium will continue to move the industry from talk to action with this edition.

WCS 2017 will feature plenary sessions, specialized tracks, workshops and executive summits, tackling aspects related to Technology & Innovation, Security & Customs, Cargo Operations, and Sustainability.

The 2017’s event venue is the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), situated 20 minutes from down town Abu Dhabi and 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport. It provides meeting and event organisers interconnected, flat-roofed indoor floor space of 73,000sqm. Conveniently accessible and stylishly decorated with a mixture of Arabian and modern fixtures, this is the most modern facility of its type in the Arabian Gulf. ADNEC forms the hub of the vibrant Capital Gate development which includes a host of architecturally-advanced hotels and office buildings.
