Yang Ming has announced the launch of a new Intra-Asia service, China-Thailand Service (CTX service). The carrier says that under the impact of rising global trade tensions, a relocation and adjustment of cargo flow and supply chains is expected. A total of three container ships with a capacity of 1,200 TEUs will be deployed for CTX service, of which one is contributed by Yang Ming. The ports of call are Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Laem Chabang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Hong Kong, Shanghai. A round trip will take 21 days.

Through vessel deployment and slot exchange cooperation, Yang Ming provides a total of 7 services in Thailand. In addition to CTX service, the others are China-Vietnam/Thailand Service (CTS service), Japan-Thailand Service (JTC service), South East Asia V (SE5 service), Thailand-Indonesia Express (ITS service), Japan-Thailand Express service (JTX Service) and North China-Thailand Service (NCT service).
