One of the world’s leading logistics providers, Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd, recently announced they have established Global Headquarters to formulate company-wide corporate strategies and focus for them to become a company that is renowned for unprecedented quality for their global services globally coupled with a strong competitive foundation.
To achieve their goal Yusen will formulate four basic strategies under their Long-Term Vision “TRANSFORM 2025” as their strive “To become the world’s preferred supply chain logistics company”.
One of the logistics providers core components, GLOBAL UNITY defined as “A company with the solid foundations to deliver consistently and competitively in every corner of the world” is a high priority as the company changes their organization and strengthen their global functions to drive growth and transform Yusen from a union of individual companies into a strong network company linked by a common brand and vision.
Two key points of the organizational changes:
- Separate global corporate functions from the Japan region and establish Global Headquarters
- Global Headquarters’ main bases are in Japan and Hong Kong
Global Headquarters, with Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd. (in Japan) and Yusen Global Freight Management Limited (in Hong Kong) as its main bases, will oversee the formulation and implementation of global management strategies centered on the CEO, COO, CBDO, CFO, CHRO, and CIO(*).
This new move will allow Yusen to focus on accelerating company-wide growth as they make prompt decisions from a broader perspective. Each region (Japan, Americas, Europe, East Asia, and South Asia and Oceania) will all play a significant role in contributing to the growth of each region and provide consistent Yusen Logistics Group’s services.
The company will continue to further bolster cooperation within the group and will build a global seamless organization as One Yusen Logistics.
