CMA CGM Group Extend the Ocean Alliance cooperation until 2027

Worldwide shipping group, France-based CMA CGM Group recently announced that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the CMA CGM Group Rodolphe Saadé signed an extension of the Ocean Alliance cooperation until 2027. The signing ceremony took place in Hainan, China, with the executives of COSO SHIPPING, Evergreen and OOCL.

Ocean Alliance, launched in 2017 is the world’s largest operational agreement between shipping companies and was initially set for a period of five years with an option for a five-year renewal. The renewal option was taken after only two years since its inception and reflects the trust and high-quality working relationship established between CMA CGM and their partners within Ocean Alliance.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the CMA CGM Group, Rodolphe Saadé said, “This new agreement with our Asian partners will enable us to propose to our customers an unrivalled and competitive service offering. It is a milestone in our development strategy. It reinforces the CMA CGM Group in its key position within the industry.”
