APL Extend their Eagle GO Guaranteed Service to Asia and the Middle East

The world’s third-largest container transportation and shipping company, American President Lines Ltd (APL) recently announced the extension of their of Eagle GO Guaranteed for US-bound containers originating from all ports in Asia and the Middle East.

Senior Vice President of Trans-Pacific Trade for APL, Jesper Stenbak said, “The extension of our Eagle GO Guaranteed service from 29 main Asian load ports to some 150 ports across Asia and the Middle East cannot be more timely.  This Trans-Pacific trading season is heading on at full steam with high shipment volumes from Asia to the US. Shippers who opt for our Eagle GO Guaranteed offering will have no concerns of equipment and vessel space shortages and can get their urgent cargoes going for sure.”

The product will also be expanded to Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and The Philippines in Asia; as well as Russia, Djibouti, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. These locations will join the direct loading ports of China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Korea and more.

Mr. Stenbak explained further, “APL’s Eagle GO Guaranteed service has seen strong demand from customers who want zero disruption in their supply chain. Unlike the traditional peak, the current trading season on the Trans-Pacific has been exacerbated by advanced shipments to the US. To help shippers manage capacity shortage in the market, this pay-on-demand offering will bring them certainty in their supply chain.”

Eagle GO Guaranteed bookings will officially launch on October 15th 2018.
