Tigers Expand their Network in China and Malaysia

One of the world’s leaders in e-commerce fulfilment, Tigers recently announced the opening of a new office in Suzhou, China along with the opening of a new fulfilment center in Selangor, Malaysia. The new Tiger entities are part of their ongoing expansion plans to serve the region’s ever-increasing e-tail market.

The new e-Fulfilment Logistics Center in Malaysia will be Tigers second operation, as they also have an automotive fulfilment center in Eastern Malaysia at Kota Kinabalu.

Tigers Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director, Andrew Jillings said, “China and South East Asia are two of the fastest growing regions in the world for online retail, and we will continue to support that growth by providing state-of-the-art facilities to meet customer demand,”

Tigers provide specialist solutions for e-commerce fulfilment, transportation, and the supply chain throughout a whole host of industries, such as health, outdoor and active lifestyle, technology, automotive, fashion, wine, perishables.

Tigers General Manager for Sales, China, Edison Zhang said, “Suzhou is the perfect location for Tigers, and our historic city is fast becoming a hub for international logistics organisation’s, we are experiencing strong sales activity in Suzhou, and there are plans for further expansion into the Chinese market, where we already have 15 locations.”

The facility at Selangor is 10,000 square feet in area and will serve as their headquarters for sea freight, e-commerce, and logistics. The facility is strategically located just 20 minutes from Port Klang, 40 minutes from the International Airport, and one hour from the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

The opening of the new Tiger facilities in China and Malaysia, follow on from the launch of a new office at Frankfurt Airport in Germany that opened in July 2018. The new Frankfurt operation will serve as a gateway to Europe by creating a trade lane between Germany and South Africa.
