Transportation and logistics company the Toll Group who are one of the leading providers in the Asian region has recently opened Toll City. This new S$228 million logistics hub spans over 1,000,000 square feet and is fitted with next-gen state-of-the-art-technology.

The new hub is strategically located in Tuas, within the West Region of Singapore. With the opening of Toll City, the group aims to increase their Asian network and traffic, while the close proximity to the road links into Malaysia along with the growth of the Jurong region in West Singapore will result in the facility being a very attractive land-sea interface for customers.

Toll City is supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board and will complement current operations in the Asia-Pacific region. The new hub is replete with the latest technologies and innovations such as 3D-printing, driver-less vehicles, Smart RFID cabinets for real-time inventory accuracy and accountability and smart-city telematics to track and optimize road fleet in real-time.

Executive Vice President of Toll Global Logistics Singapore, Vincent Phang said, “Toll City in Singapore is a new growth chapter for Toll in Asia. Toll’s focus on technology developments will revolutionize the way people work, as we create resilient supply chain solutions that deliver smarter, faster and better outcomes for our clients.”

He further added, “With the SiTadeL Control Tower in Toll City, we have been addressing Singapore’s urban logistics challenges with real-time visibility and monitoring of our moving assets. As a result, we offer an integrated supply chain management process that’s prepared for surge periods, and potential supply chain disruptions caused by human or natural disasters.”

Singapore Economic Development Board Assistant Managing Director, Kelvin Wong said, “Toll City is a true testament to the transformation of our logistics ecosystem, where best-in-class facilities are advancing the sector’s overall operational excellence. This is in line with the Logistics Industry Transformation Map, catalyzing deep supply chain innovation that translates into better business opportunities and good jobs within the logistics sector in Singapore.”
