U.S. headquartered forklift truck manufacturer Crown Equipment has recently unveiled their new WP 3010 series of pallet trucks. The latest addition to their extensive range of pallet trucks promises to be a strong performer while remaining economical.

The new series is replete with all the quality hallmarks Crown is renowned for in a more compact and economically priced package. The new series is now available throughout Southeast Asia via their national branch network.

The WP 3010 series was designed by Crown Europe in Roding, Germany and features an AC drive motor combined with the e‑GEN™ regenerative braking system for reliability, performance, maintenance-free braking and a longer battery life.

The WP 3010 Series’ fork length of up to 1150mm, short (500mm) head length, low weight (279kg without battery) and built-in charger make it convenient and agile making it the perfect choice for work inside trucks.

Although lightweight and nimble the WP 3010 is also just as rugged with a load capacity of 1600kg, optimized steel structure, robust helical gear set, heavy-duty gearbox, robust helical and high-tensile steel forks.

Steve Stewart, Crown Equipment Executive Director for the Asia Pacific region, had this to say to about the new series, “Crown has made a power pallet truck with compact dimensions, so it’s ideal for moving and positioning loads quickly and safely in confined storage spaces, in doing so, it has also compacted the entry price of the Crown WP Series model line-up.”

Mr. Stewart continued, “It means that you no longer need to sacrifice quality, longevity and ergonomics to have an affordable power pallet truck. “This new model is perfectly at home doing kerbside deliveries, transport on truck beds as well as retail applications and even manufacturing environments.”
