Wan Hai Lines recently celebrated the maiden voyage of their NS1 service, and to mark this historic event a welcome ceremony was conducted by the Port & Harbor Bureau of OSAKA City on the 17th April 2018.

In attendance of this very special event were delegates from Wan Hai Lines, Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation and other related port operators.

The NS1 service includes Kanto to Hong Kong direct express service and Japanese main ports to Nansha port (Guandong, China). The new service will further enhance the current service coverage Wan Hai offers for the Japan and Singapore/Malaysia corridor and increases their scheduled frequency to three sailings each week.

Wan Hai lines market exposure and reach will expand allowing the company to better serve customers’ requirements. This is due to the company providing shippers and consignees more options of direct services between Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia and South China ports in both directions.

NS1 port rotation is as follows: Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Kawasaki, Tokyo, Yokohama, Hong Kong, Nansha, Singapore, Port Klang, Cai Mep, Shekou, Hong Kong, Yantian, Osaka.
