Danish-based transport and logistics company DSV has been named by General Motors as a GM Supplier of the Year 2017, this is the fourth time the company has this prestigious award. The award was presented at the General Motors 26th annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony.
The event now 26 years on recognizes suppliers who have consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, brought new innovations to the company and delivered outstanding value. At this year’s event, GM awarded 132 of their best suppliers from 17 different countries.
General Motors Senior Vice President for Global Purchasing and Supply Chain, Steve Kiefer said, “This is an opportunity for General Motors to honor those suppliers who are truly the best of the best. The automotive industry is transforming at an incredible rate. The relationships we have with our supply base means everything when it comes to delivering a strong vehicle line-up today and the cutting-edge vehicles and mobility services of tomorrow.”
Supplier of the Year award winners represents companies who provide products and services to General Motors in the areas of vehicle components, supply chain and logistics, customer care and after sales and indirect services.
