The family-owned U.S. company, Crown Equipment Corporation recently announced the opening of a new managed sales and service location branch in the Philippines, this new branch will allow businesses that use material handling equipment access to the supplier direct.

The new branch of Crown Lift Trucks is strategically located within the Clark Freeport Zone provides a whole host of benefits such as expert factory-trained professionals, communication speed and easy access to a range of material handling equipment solutions.

The company’s growth and infrastructure development in South East Asia are driven by the need for local businesses to have direct access to leading products, services and practices.

The new state-of-the-art facility offers Crown’s range of premium electric and internal combustion lift trucks replete with service support 24 hours a day to an increasing number of small and large customers throughout the country.

A large rental fleet is available for long and short-term MHE solutions along with a large inventory of replacement parts to optimize lift truck up-time for their customers.

Steven Hill, Crown Equipment managing director for the Asia Pacific, said that facility provides opportunities for local businesses throughout the Philippines to improve supply chain performance whilst allowing for cost reductions through working directly with the company.

He further commented about the new facility, “The Clark Freeport Zone facility is the fourth major expansion in Asia for Crown in the last 12 months, following recently completed facilities in South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand.
